iameverythang asked: Of all the litterature related to Buddhism/spirituality you've come across, which one had the most profound effect on you? The type of book that makes you meditate for an hour every two sentences you read namean
Be Here Now by Ram Das has had the most profound effect on me, however I would suggest Mindfulness in Plain English by Bhante Henepola Gunaratana for someone looking to be introduced into a meditative state. I find myself meditating more often to Zen’s Chinese Heritage but it is harder to catch the drift of it. Once you understand the vibe of the material though, you can meditate for hours on one exchange alone. And give The Universe in a Single Atom by His Holiness the Dalai Lama a shot if you like how well Buddhism alines with scientific thinking. :D
